We will spend about 15 minutes getting clear on a few details about approach, language, goals, etc.
Comparable to a guided meditation, this process involves gently rolling your eyes upward towards your brows, similar to the pre-sleep state. This prompts your body to unwind, ushering you into a theta brainwave state – a deeply relaxed state linked with your subconscious mind.
Next, you will be asked to consecutively recall three memories in your life that have influenced the specific issue. You will be asked to describe things like the setting, the people involved, what you are seeing and the emotions during these moments.
If there was a specific individual such as a parent or teacher that played a role in your issue, you'll have an opportunity to address them during this time. This aims to facilitate the release of negative emotions associated with your issue, allowing you to move forward.
You are reunited with the younger you that experienced these negative events and clearly declare that you are now in charge.
Last, there is a period where you'll be prompted to identify the common thread among the three memories. This allows you to gain deeper understanding of how these experiences have shaped you. Additionally, you'll distinctly separate these past memories from your current reality. Your subconscious is trained to acknowledge that these events are in the past and do not influence your present circumstances. Then we instill this portion with positive messaging relating to what was discussed.
You will gently come out of hypnosis with a countdown. You awaken feeling a little groggy, refreshed, and like you just processed a lot! It’s recommended after this time to take it easy, drink lots of water, practice self-care, and just be with yourself.
